I took this lock as a small box to keep the keys to my safe. Overall it does its job, I just wish it would work a little bit better. Benefits: > Strong, durable construction. This thing packs a punch and you really get the feeling that the box itself is solid > Flush wall mounting brackets (this is the current configuration I have it in now) > Plastic cover for possible outdoor use. Cons: >very small, was a bit difficult to get keys in. >difficult to store keys in vertical mounting configuration. I ended up having to attach tape magnets to attach the keyrings > the code doesn't work like you think it does. You program the code by turning the cylinders on the back of the keyboard with the tool provided. But then the order of the code doesn't matter. For example, suppose your code is "1-2-3-4”, you don't really need to type the code "1-2-3-4”, you can just type those numbers in any order you like and open the lock.>You have to open the code to not only open the lock, but also to close it again. It gets tiring quickly. As I said, it basically works. But I have a feeling there's probably a better solution, and will probably replace it if I find that solution.
