This is my third Fiskars circle cutter. I chose titanium because I thought it would provide the best cut for the quilt. I'm very disappointed that it just wasn't sharp and couldn't cleanly cut through a folded piece of calico material. Yes, I folded the material once (2 pieces of fabric) and on multiple cuts it didn't cut cleanly. I used an older cutter and it delivered a clean cut quality. I love the grip and how it feels better than my others, but who cares if it doesn't cut clean. Just beware they can get blunt and you can order extra replacement blades.
