Great alternative to heavy solid metal blocks

Light, strong but not something you'd throw logs at as it takes a little thought about weight distribution. Mine sagged a bit on the sides/ends after a ride with 200-300 pounds of gear. I think I can tighten it up and that should help. Easy assembly, less than 30 minutes. The receiver just doesn't get tight, but I've found that it does on many hitches, e.g. B. with my bike rack. Same, so play it. That was enough for me to do something about it. So I went to UHaul and bought a lock and clutch wrench. It has a nut inside and will tighten the nozzle. Now it's as solid as can be. I took it off and will hammer in some strong nails to hang in the garage or maybe back something flat. If you place other items that may be damaged by use, like we did. had a waterproof cargo bag for our camping gear, and the rack's mesh floor can act as an abrasive cheese grinder for the gear you put on it. And during our trip we found that our bag had signs of wear/scuffs/cracks that would eventually compromise the bag and render it unusable. You might want to set up a trap or something rigid like cardboard.
