there was an 8 year old niece. easy to fly. An adult is required for assembly as it is difficult to insert a wide stick into the kite body. The width bar can move in 2 directions, in the light direction the kite does not fly, it spirals and falls. With a wide stick in the hard direction, the kite flies straight. Used twice in strong winds of 15-20mph when camping, total flight about an hour.
