Great Signal: Computers & Accessories

My problems started after I switched teams from Comcast to Verizon. My laptop connected to the network immediately, but my workhorse, my desktop, kept losing signal (both operating systems are Vista). Finally, a Verizon technician said he couldn't determine the cause of the weak signal. My wifi card was Belkin (good products) but for some reason it couldn't hold the signal. I kept falling out of line. I tried everything for three frustrating weeks. I switched to other cards that were loaned to me, tweaked and reconfigured but nothing seemed to work. When looking for another card, I kept overlooking this TrendNet because I didn't know the name - I didn't know I wanted more trouble. I ended up returning to this product on Revain and reviewing the comments. My attention was drawn to that of MS Broadbent. I'm in a similar environment - a finished basement office with a router upstairs and a few feet away. So I ordered the card from Revain. I received it a few days ago, installed it and immediately saw four green warning bars (four out of four!) suddenly appear. Never flinched. Satisfied? What do you think? Five stars? About ten.
