Received these filters yesterday. I opened the packaging they came in and smelled a horrible chemical smell. These filters are supposed to be washable, so I ran one of them under the tap for a few minutes. The filter still smelled awful afterwards, so I added some dish soap and washed it for a few more minutes. Flush all the soap out of the filter and it still stinks. At this point I noticed that my hands were burning from chemicals in/on the filter. I washed my hands thoroughly with soap several times and it helped, but after 12 hours the skin on my hands is still a bit irritated. Worst thing I've ever bought from Revain (no pun intended).
