reviews correspond to reality. The best car wax I've ever used - period! I just completely sanded, polished and waxed my 2015 Dodge Charger SRT392 Pitch Black for the first time. Surroundings: nice cool underground parking lot out of direct sunlight but open to sunlight and light breezes. Day 80, low humidity, ideal conditions. Don't choose Meguiar's Ultimate Compound and Polish for any particular reason other than that it's a well-known brand. So far, so good. When it finally came time to wax, I had three products on hand; Meguiar Ultimate Wax, Optimum Spray Wax and Duragloss 951. Tried the panel for the first time with Meguiar's. Subtle shine with a slight tendency to form streaks. Tedious to apply and took a fair amount of elbow grease to polish. Then I tried some Optimum. A striped mess from the start that was never polished. Finally Duragloss. Easy application and buffing with a cloth, NO wax buildup on anything, and the CRAZY best shine of the three. I quickly went beyond the optimum range and removed any streaks and improved the shine. They followed her lead in the Megyar area and never looked back. The whole car took 10 minutes. I've even used it to clean wax and spray polish on windows and now they're spotless too. So, dumb fuck that I am, I managed to drop the bottle and break the spray nozzle and marvel at the wonders. Product. No problem! I poured the rest of the Optimum Spray Wax out of the bottle and filled it with it, labeling it accordingly so as not to confuse it with other things. Next project, order 6 more bottles of this substance after I finish this review. Add to that, nothing else I've used that has ever lived up to the once-a-year shelf life it promised. But I have to say that even if I have to reapply this product every time I wash/wipe the car (I wipe ONR regularly too) as the manual recommends, it's a compromise I'm ABSOLUTELY willing to make . Duragloss 951 is so easy to use and adds shine!
