I bought this product to keep water out of my house. During Florida summer and hurricane season, my backyard tends to flood and spill out onto my front porch. When the rain is really heavy, the water levels get even crazier and my bottom gets wet, the Quick Dam flood defense is my alternative to using traditional sandbags for water protection. The fast perineal barrier works by inflating when it gets wet. Simply place it where you want it to stay out of the water and when the water starts to rise, the water activates the product and it begins to grow to a total height of 3.5 inches, keeping water out of there will be where you don't want it to be. . Lightweight and very easy to set up, the quick dam product can be used as an alternative to filling and moving heavy sandbags which are very difficult to transport and weigh a ton.
