We only had to charge the book lamp once before we lost it somewhere. I bought another one to replace it, I hope another comes out. :) Our daughter loves the color (it applies to her favorite pink). I also like that it is rechargeable. It is good that you can regulate the intensity of the light. I wish it was a little easier to remember how to operate it (adjust intensity instead of off) when it's been a while since you last used it (like when we lost it and ordered a second one). The clamp seems to work well and the light is quite flexible, bending as needed.
