Our pup had a bad experience at puppy day care and was tied up by an older pit bull puppy. Since then, our pup has started barking at everyone and everyone that walks by our house. he got out of control. So I bought it as a helper to keep our pup from barking at everything passing our house. For the first week or so it worked fine. The pup had no idea where the sound was coming from. I could keep it discreetly in my pocket. A light touch of the button for less than 5 seconds was enough. The training was completed by the end of the week. I told him to try it. I noticed a "chirp" when I pressed the button. The device is no longer silent, but it still works. However, the dog understood where the chirping came from. (Damn) I strongly recommend NOT abusing this product. When used correctly, a dog learns quickly. As a friend told us, when overused, a dog learns to ignore it. This particular seller included a dog poop holder and several dog poop bags in the box. Nice surprise, but I didn't order any. Or I thought so. It should be in their info, but we couldn't find it. Also, I should mention don't be stupid and keep it on your ear or someone else's. PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW YOUR YOUNG CHILDREN ACCESS. This is NOT a toy.
