Review on Steven Raichlen Best Barbecue Tuscan by Dontell Hawkins

This is great! I have used this in my home fireplace to cook turkey burgers and whatnot during the winter months. I also plan to make it a part of our camping gear in spring, summer and early fall. At first I thought it was a bit pricey but the great reviews convinced me to spend more than I wanted to. The quality is fantastic and I don't find it expensive anymore because it's durable and heavy (compared to other fireplace/pit grills) and will probably last me forever! Cheaper grills don't last as long. The cheaper ones seem to have ripples/waves (not sure about the right choice of words but the shape changes, I know what I mean lol). They have color on them after heating, which would be poisonous to cook without them. swing between them. People said they let the fire burn off the paint before cooking food directly on it. One review talked about how bad the chemicals made her family feel, but could they have had bad food? Anyway, I would have preferred this cast iron beast with no paint made for pickling food! Spend $20-$25 more and buy this, it's worth it! Remember you get what you pay for! There is no color on it and nothing changes when heated and used, stays as it is and lasts forever! Amazing product!
