Reliable burglar lock when installed correctly

I originally wanted to buy a chain lock, but then I saw this set of 2. It looks cuter and there are no hanging parts to fiddle with. Also solid metal, no chain easy to break. I installed one of these on the kitchen door. You just need to make sure the two pieces are level and it depends on how your door is installed. The first installation took about 15 minutes. Works as advertised. I just wanted something that would keep someone from squeezing in the house when you open the door a little to talk (although that's less likely these days!).
