Review on ⚡ Enhanced Conductivity Resistivity by Apera Instruments LLC by Mark Gilbert

After trying this gauge for the past 6 months. Just because of the wireless aspect, I gave up and replaced it with BlueLabs. The thing is absolute garbage. As mentioned, it is in no way waterproof. Possibly waterproof like a cheap watch, drop and splash resistant. You can let it dry and it will work again. but that's just the beginning of the problems. When my phone is paired with another Bluetooth device, the app refuses to connect to the meter. So good luck gardening and even listening to music. It usually takes 30-60 minutes for the meter to get a reasonably accurate reading. Take it out of the solution, clean/rinse it and put it back in. Wait another HOUR and get a _completely different_ reading. For example from 700pps to 300! Plug in a cheap $20 meter and you'll get the same reading in seconds. PH value. hahahaha is never accurate and never stabilizes. Again, a cheap $25 gauge will get accurate readings out of the box. I got rid of this device, kept it clean, calibrated once a month (btw the built in calibration reminders NEVER worked). The app is annoying at best. You either create an account (which you have to log into EVERY TIME you want to use it) or you choose permanent "Visitor" mode. Why? Oh, and the best part. Press the mode button on the pen or in the app and watch the magic happen. I press the mode button 5 to 20 times a day (yes, I mean it) to switch modes. This thing is worse than the cheapest switches. Oh, and like others have said. Just TRY to replace these people. Yeah right. I even bought a replacement sensor for $100 thinking I damaged it somehow. nope It still works like crap. DO NOT SPEND YOUR $$ ON THESE PEOPLE.
