I just spent $$ on a full suspension mountain bike and wanted to protect the paintwork. One spin of this helicopter covered almost every spot (many!) on the frame I wanted to protect. It is very sticky and stays clear. Practice in a small area to perfect your technique. Make sure your hands are clean: the sticky side will show your fingerprints if you touch it, but that's not a big deal. You have to take your time applying it, but the results are great. In addition, there are several videos on the Internet on how to apply such tape to a bicycle frame. Watch them multiple times to understand the process. You will not be disappointed.
