I just installed a set of these shocks on my 2010 Jeep Wrangler. Of course, they are rear shock absorbers, front shock absorbers are threaded on top. I bought them to replace the factory shocks on my 70,000 mile jeep. My first impression was that these were excellent shocks, but I had to remind myself that the old factory shocks were pretty worn out and I was used to a bumpier ride. These shocks provide a ride that reminded me my Jeep was brand new. Anyway, it was a definite improvement. My Jeep stays level, leans less in corners, and responds more quickly to normal road bumps. Driving on the highway is very smooth and quiet. There was no wow factor but they are a good replacement and easy to install.
