Yes, yes, it's just a cleaning brush. But it's a nice weight, with just enough weight, and the handle feels comfortable in the hand. It doesn't tire your hand easily. It holds soap/suds well for cleaning. It's strong enough to clean well, but the bristles aren't so hard that they scratch the surface. OXO is very convenient and produces high quality products. My last brush failed after many years and wasn't as comfortable to hold as this OXO brush. .This material is easy to clean, does not stain and dries in just a few hours. Not bad odor control. Not a single bristle came off. The bristles hold their shape well. I have a weak, non-dominant right hand, but even I had no problem holding this cleaning brush in my right (weak/numb) hand. . The price is very fair for the quality you get
