Not a problem for me. I used to pull out a 50 amp power cord and hook it up to shore power at home when I was preparing the trailer. Even though I have a 50 amp hookup, I never need a 50 amp service just packing a trailer. The 20 amp circuit is enough to run an AC unit, the fridge, and keep the batteries charged so it's just not needed. This article saves my back and is worth every penny in my opinion. Pros: Such a simple and easy connection makes it much nicer to pack a trailer. Useful also at campsites when it's not hot and all you need is a microwave and fridge (also air con but no microwave). Cons: The threaded ring that secures the unit to the jack is a bit flimsy and difficult to start. . A very small problem for me. The small LED that indicates the terminal has power is very dim.
