We bought these because our Subaru says it doesn't have enough room for chains and it sounded like a good alternative. We tried several times to put them on the front wheels, but it didn't work. So we tried rear tires with less profile and finally put them on. As long as they were on, they seemed to provide good traction. Then we had to take them off and they were so tight it was impossible. We had to get help to undress her. We ended up cutting off one side but had to cut off the other. I checked that we have the right size for our 225/55R18 tires and they are. If it really was the right size then I can't imagine how they should be "easy and quick to assemble and disassemble even in cold and difficult weather conditions" as the description says.
