I didn't buy these because I'm a nurse but because my husband and I can't avoid people who spit when they speak. Whenever we go shopping, walk, go to the post office, wherever we try to get in and out of the store quickly, no matter the social distancing, we end up with one or two people refusing to wear masks and on pass a passionate conversation with us. Rather than inciting any random act of violence we're down south with folks walking through Home Depot with guns on their belts and a chip on their shoulders, ready to pull, I'd rather take a pair of these with me to shield my eyes from the saliva while I slowly withdraw I've actually had an eye infection in the past so I really decided to up my game because of Covid. I also wash my eyes every time I get home from the street because my eyes are very sensitive and dry. However, they were so comfortable that I bought them for my mother-in-law who is a nurse. she loves them!
