I am 33 waist, 160 pounds and 6 feet tall. I'm a lean cyclist and runner. I usually wear a medium that covers the waist 32-34. I bought a small because the waist size in their chart is small not medium. They fit with plenty of extra room in the waist and legs. The legs are baggy and the waist belt can stretch to almost double its relaxed size. I could put two of my feet in one of those shorts. I would buy a very small one again, but I don't want to spend 40€ anymore. I also suspect that there will be little difference between Small and XS. These are good quality shorts. No complaints.
