In theory they are good, you definitely can't have bare skin in contact with the inside of the heated device so make sure to use some kind of coating. Also, the cords connecting two mittens or bottles are too close together, making it very difficult to get comfortable while trying to relax in them. Finally, the booties are too...spiky...for lack of a better term...on the bottom end...it doesn't allow your foot to sit too snugly inside the booties for even warmth. I would return them but I have tested this product in my massage practice and within 3 months have had feedback from my customers. In general they liked it but most had the same complaints I listed.
