I don't know if it's even possible to make the nippers any sharper. If they were any bigger, you'd need a permit to own/operate. The jaws are lined up perfectly and where they meet, there is a very fine bezel that makes them easy to get into tight spots and take off skin cleanly without a lot of tags and no pulling, and it takes off the tiny tags really easily. These nipper blades actually work! Don’t know if I just got lucky or all of this brand is good quality because I’ve purchased so many that only meet at the tip of the cutter then the cuticle gets torn, but these nipper blades close the full length of the jaw which insures a smooth cut. Yay!
