Update again: I got the replacement and it's working beautifully as I was used to previously. I have bumped the stars back up to 4 since they work beautifully. I will, of course, update if needed, but hopefully it won't be necessary. Be sure to let them know if you somehow receive a dud like I did. They will make it right!Update: Great customer service! They are sending me a replacement. Hopefully I will get to bump the stars back up some more.Original: I loved the last set of these I bought the first time. The cat knocked them off the table and it bent the tip so I had to buy a new set. This time, I left the guard always on and hid it from the cats. I cannot, for the life of me figure out why the dang blade broke! I was wondering why they suddenly stopped trimming my cuticles. Which apparently break steel they are so dry
