I make collages, models and dioramas. Those three things taught me that I needed to learn how to take better photos, so I started early with the Canon Powershot and then progressed to a couple of Canon APSC cameras that I love and have in my collection , along with many other canon. top notch lenses. That's all well and good, but I wanted a more portable camera, and since I already have all the goggles I'll ever need (well, there's never too much glass!), I decided to explore the CANON EOS. M on YOUTUBE (big mistake). All the reviews of this camera on YOUTUBE give the impression that this is DOA. And that is NOT TRUE. I've had this camera for a few weeks now and I love it. I just love it. Lens adapters allow me to play and experiment with all my lenses and it's a lot of fun. For the price, this camera is not only a bargain, but the right choice if you are already a Canon user. I liked the image quality (I had no trouble with the proverbial focus - remember, I use mine 99% of the time when shooting with a tripod on a table) and video quality. I like it so much I bought a second one. I don't care how late Canon got into the mirrorless camera party (to use a common phrase in different communities), the bottom line is that the camera works well for my needs and is sometimes the right approach. . WHAT DO YOU WANT THE CAMERA TO DO FOR YOU? How will you use it? This is a fundamental question and after doing some research and finding the answer, the Canon EOS M emerged as the winner. My advice to potential buyers is to do your research locally. Check out the camera in store and get a feel for it. (Mine came with firmware version 2.0.2 by the way.)
