I bought two of these devices to use with my XPS13 to control external displays, connect a webcam and connect to an ethernet network. It won't work out of the box. After updating the firmware, both work, but are unreliable. USB3 cable connectors are unreliable and wear out quickly. They get very hot and will cause the computer to overheat. The network cable had to be unplugged to keep the screen from popping out etc. Long list of problems. I replaced them with the Totu equivalent, which works like a charm (but watch out for the virus loader on their driver flash drive!)
