Why I played around with others
star design. Stellar performance. Not better for $ if you don't have to turn left to right. but to be honest the 5 plasmas I have on fixed pivots have NEVER left their center. and honestly I wish I could just mount Em with it - it's lower and slimmer. Plus no sagging due to bad joints like some of my elbow bindings. Beware of cheap vortex power. Much luck!
