Review on Stampers GBXL Holtz 9 Piece Acrylic Scrapbooking & Stamping by Carrie Spencer

later I know the name Stampendous and the name Tim Holtz and I believed I was getting a quality product. no i feel depressed maybe even cheated. This set is not what I expected at all and now I'm going to take a closer look at anything with the Tim Holtz name. (This is the second time I've received the product he's promoting. In other words, all that glitters on Holz's isn't gold.) Yes, there are many, many sizes in this pack, all with grid lines. But DAGGGGG, they are skinny! Stupid of me for thinking I was going to get a deal. And for not reading the reviews. I only read the description. The description lists the dimensions of all the blocks, but nowhere does it say the blocks are only 1/8" thick! If you're used to stamping acrylic blocks, you'll automatically assume they're as thick as I am in photos try to show at least 1/4 inch or 1/2 inch. "Thick in depth. (Which I thought was standard.) And, I repeat, they're not strong and, for that matter, cheap. They seem thin enough to snap in half with my fingers. I need these blocks for I hope the photos comparing my existing units to these thin ones give you a better idea of what you might not want to buy.
