They are perfect: stamp and ink pad

Excellent set. Very easy to use. You can easily keep your fingers off the paper. I think people who give bad reviews on these items are not using them as intended. I have used them to print on paper and straight into my art magazine. They are perfect for magazines. I love them and I think they change my life. Yes they are so cool!

Very useful and beautiful set

I really liked this set although I was a little concerned when it arrived that it might be too thin. It wasn't a problem. You are very tough. The only negative - one of the 3 was slightly deformed. I tried heating it up but couldn't fix it and I'm worried about further damage to it. It's still usable, just with a little hesitation. So the set is very good for the price.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Quality

some good, some bad

Good stuff. The blocks are a good size and are marked with grid lines for easier positioning. Bad things. They're very thin, making them difficult to hold, and the edges on one side of each block are sharp enough to cut paper like slices on your hands and fingers if you're not careful with them. In other words, the edges of the "back" of the blocks were not sanded smooth. You can sand these edges with fine sandpaper.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Crumpled

Not my first choice

These blocks work well with my clear stamps and most of my red gum stamps. But I really have a problem with them being so thin. It's not easy for me to print my picture without getting ink on my fingertips. This ink would then transfer to my card leaving a stain on it. My nails aren't long, but I have short, blunt fingers, so I can't easily use these blocks. The grid marked on the blocks is a great idea, it helps line up the stamps so they are straight. These blocks also feel very light in my…

Ooooh disappointed!

later I know the name Stampendous and the name Tim Holtz and I believed I was getting a quality product. no i feel depressed maybe even cheated. This set is not what I expected at all and now I'm going to take a closer look at anything with the Tim Holtz name. (This is the second time I've received the product he's promoting. In other words, all that glitters on Holz's isn't gold.) Yes, there are many, many sizes in this pack, all with grid lines. But DAGGGGG, they are skinny! Stupid of me for…

New way to stamp rubber

When I bought my first Tim Holtz stamp set I was dismayed to find that they weren't attached to the old wooden blocks I was used to. People seemed to be in love with her and I liked the look. Rather than returning them I invested in acrylic grid blocks to use with them and now I will never use anything else again. First, buy sets of rubber stamps to stick to these acrylic pieces. This gives you a lot more storage space: you can store stamp ends in folders on the shiny sides they are attached…

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Requires socket
