Review on DB Tech Bamboo Compact Foldable Slicer by Michael Dunn

We have been using this for 2 1/2 years now and absolutely love it. I like having different sizes in one piece. It held up well for about 2 years before the first 2 rails broke at the bottom. In fairness, we clipped from that ending almost daily in those years. It is on the thin end of the disc so after years of pressure the pieces tore at the bottom where they were attached. A large piece of wood glue extended the life another 6 months before it broke again. The rest of the slicer is fine. We definitely have grooves on the underside of the knife, but I don't see how that affects its usefulness. We may decide to replace it since most of the time we use the broken end. But if we do it will be the same. For your information, our bread maker has become larger than a bread slicer. It's not a problem for me, but my husband has a little more trouble with straight cuts.
