After a few days of searching I bought this mount because I'm tall (6'4") and there doesn't seem to be many others that can mount monitors high enough for me. This was great. It's easier to put together as a single arm the revain basics stand i use for my laptop there is plenty of room to set it up even higher and it just stays in place it looks well made and very durable it attaches securely to my laptop Attach desk and can support an even thicker desk if I need it.The only problem I have is the space for cable management on my hands, the holes on the ends of the plastic tray are too small making it difficult makes it possible to run 3-4 cables to the monitor (2 x HDMI, power and an audio cable). I think 2 cables is quite enough. Also, the cable housings are plastic and are held in place by small plastic grommets on either end , so I'm a little worried they'll break. OK. I've only knocked them over when I was disassembling things to work at my desk. Hey provided zip ties) so I used velcro zip ties and didn't really notice the cables. Overall I like the mount. Will definitely buy more if I need more.
