I bought these lids to replace my 10 year old Anchor Hocking 2 cup 4.75" glass jar and they fit perfectly and we are beating the original. so far in every way.The original covers failed 9 years ago!The description from the sellers said they don't fit Anchor Hocking containers.Lots of Revain reviews from people who bought them for use with Anchor Hocking containers states that "they fit better where they are tighter and better sealed than the original Anchor Hocking lids, which were inferior in quality. The Pyrex 7200 PC replacement lids have a deeper rim, which is responsible for the better fit and performance, which I have also experienced Warning: It is possible that the thickness of the glass on the new Anchor Hocking Bowls reduced one n diameter, so other reviews and the seller warn that in many cases the Pyrex 7200 PC is not suitable for the Anchor Hocking 2 Bowl! Measure the top "outer diameter" of the rim and if it's exactly 4.75" (4 3/4"), it's an exact fit and even better than the original that came with the old Anchor Hocking 2 cups -Containers was delivered. Only time will tell their durability. I do not recommend putting these lids in the microwave as they will warp and this will speed up tearing of the rim in the future. I think they will be ok with the dishwasher on the top shelf. I suggest placing a clear glass plate on top of two-cup glass dishes when heating or melting food that contains fat or water at high temperatures in the microwave. I find it a bit pricey for four small pieces of plastic, but much of that cost can come from supposedly free shipping, which isn't actually free, and the convenience of simply ordering. These hidden costs are the reason for the perceived high price! In general, this is a good fix for reviving topless STORAGE CONTAINERS that have prematurely become normal BOWLS. Now they can go back to the fridge and perform their original STORAGE CONTAINER function!
