It's a decent alternative chair mat. It's carpet like. You can tape the mat down to your floor. Obviously you cannot tape this down if your floor is carpeted. I chose not to anyway even though I have hardwood floor. As I'd like to have the option to move it in the future.I have been using it for a few weeks, no issues.See the pics yourself. I have a dog. Hence the fur you're seeing on the carpet.Why 4 stars and not 5? The carpet is thinner than I'd like.But overall, I'd recommend this product for a chair mat esp if you don't like heavy duty traditional chair mat.
