I bought this to cover my entire lycra suit for warmth. It's thin and light. I would say 2mm. My 3mm gloves feel a bit thicker and my 5mm boots are twice as thick. I'm 5.1175 feet tall and about 160-165 pounds. In the real world I would probably try the environment. May need a large depending on fit. Here I ordered XL and it feels perfect. A little tight over the shoulders. Easier to get into than out of. I probably wouldn't have gotten out without help. But the landing was really perfect. I mean it has to be comfortable, it's a wetsuit. I'm glad I didn't order a large one. And maybe XXL could fill in, but XL fits me well.
