I like my Garmin GPS. I use it almost every time I'm anywhere other than the market. However, it was difficult to find a mount that is stable and clearly visible while driving. I've tried a few different styles (windshield suction cup, stand mount on top of dash, air conditioner vent mount, "sandbag" on top of dash, even CD player slot mount, but none of these are reliable.
