I have a lanky 50 lb labrador puppy who is a bit fussy about life so I bought this for her in the hope that she would get the " The dog's hug would enjoy Harness. I already have this brand's leash which is impressively strong so it doesn't surprise me that this harness is the same. It's fiddly to adjust, but it's cleverly designed to fit a variety of sizes, which is extra cool. in my case because my girl is still growing. (It also helps if you've measured your pet incorrectly.) Pull it over your head and fasten it on both sides and you're done. (She's already used to a martingale collar so overhead is fine for her.) Handle and hook at top and another hook at chest (although I've never used that attachment point on a dog). You should measure your dog but my dog is 50 pounds 20 inches at the withers and I have her size Large. She has big breasts, narrow hips and very long legs. I'm just describing a bit because of course not all 50 pound dogs are the same shape. Not sure yet if this will help my dog with her anxiety but she happily wore it a few times when I fitted her so that's a good sign.
