Doesn’t drain battery!
I love how I can leave it plugged and it has a circuit to prevent it from draining your battery. I leave it plugged in all the time and it wakes up when I start the car, giving me full time live data for towing (A/T fluid temp). I have a Tesla style android head unit which doesn’t work with the Bluetooth version of these obd2 devices. This wifi version works great with the Tesla style android head units.
- Can be used to perform basic car maintenance such as resetting oil lights
- Not suitable for truck or heavy-duty vehicles
