Adapter didn't work

The micro card itself worked perfectly. However, I bought this particular item because it also came with a USB adapter. Unfortunately the adapter does not work. I have multiple SD cards inserted and my computer does not recognize any of the installed cards. The same SD cards inserted into another card reader will be recognized and read normally.
