The last time I bought a new cable like this I bought it at an office supply store and one cable cost me more than those 5 pieces! They are of good quality and have no visible defects. They are shipped in a medium weight ziplock plastic bag. The cords have a matte finish rather than a gloss finish, which I like. The length of the cable unwound at each end is 1.5-2 inches, definitely less than the picture shows. I only used 1 cable out of 5 but it works fine. If you are looking for something similar then these cables are a good choice.
