Review on OTC 5052 S Cam Brake Adjuster by John Baker

After trying this tool on the four brakes on my 1992 Blue Bird bus I had to rebuild it. I may have to wear two of these with different modifications. The tool just doesn't fit all installations. To be fair, it may not be possible to design one tool for all myriad air brake setups for myriad vehicle variants. Of course, I've been riding 18 wheelers for 27 years and I've never used such a tool - just my hand. But it was the hand of a young and strong man. Now that I'm old and have arthritis I need more influence. But OTC 5052 is not the right tool, although the concept is good.
