Review on OtterBox Defender Case IPhone Packaging by Pamela Howard

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Don't worry about the lack of protective film. Better this way. Take the glass

Of course it doesn't come with a screen protector, but what's wrong with that? Old screen protectors stink. It scratches easily, leaving a rainbow/oil stain trail just below the protective film. I used to rip them out anyway and put a protective film on them, which is perfect for me. Does it add volume? Of course, but for me it's not that bad. Let's face it, the XR is a big phone no matter what case you put on. The included holster strap is good, protects the screen. I just tossed the old cases in my bag and they scratched pretty easily. So I prefer the holster. Good grip, it doesn't slip out of my hand or my pant leg when it's lying there. The buttons are a little tight, but that doesn't bother me. Ports are closed. In general, there aren't that many cases for this phone right now, so out of all the ones I've tried, this one is the best. Don't worry about the lack of a built in screen protector, it's best the ones I had are new, they no longer offer them. I'm using Spigen screen protectors in a twin pack for XR. Simple application, beautiful and understandable. That's the combination I'm using right now. Give it a chance, you might like it.

Cons
