I took care of my niece Vogel's beautiful blue Linnie for a month and felt really bad having to leave her 12 hours a day for work. There were many toys in her cage but all seemed to have lost their novelty. So I thought if she had a mirror maybe she would feel like she had a boyfriend and therefore wouldn't be so lonely. Well she likes this mirror! Every night when I came home, she would stand by that mirror and look at her reflection. The same in the morning. When she returned home, she laid an egg; she seems to have fallen in love with her reflection (like that mythical character, Narcissus)! Either way, this inexpensive mirror is the perfect size for a Linnie or other parrot or small bird. It doesn't take up much space and can be easily moved from one part of the cage to another.
