Ideal fuel filter for older models. Remains nice and transparent despite the high temperature in the engine compartment. It's so nice to see the fuel flow to diagnose the fuel system and make sure the filter is fine. I have two filters on my '76 van, one in the back of the tank and one in the inlet between the carburetor and the pump. Maybe that's an exaggeration. You might also think that the inlet and outlet hoses are brittle because they are plastic, but they are very stiff on this Wix filter. Whatever plastic is used, it's great - fuel resistant and very strong and durable.
