I installed the battery in a Roomba 960C. Initially, the Roomba app showed it was 75% charged. However, after a few minutes, Roomba's lights started flashing red and the app reported a loading error, which could be serious. contacts or a battery other than Roomba. I've read that some kind of reset might be needed, but nothing was mentioned with a new battery. I emailed the battery manufacturer/seller and got a useless reply. try to reset Roomba. For my model, this meant pressing the DOCK and SPOT buttons simultaneously for more than 10 seconds. I was expecting some sort of visual or audible response from Roomba during this time, but nothing. However, the app soon showed that the battery was charging and hasn't complained since. We only charged it twice and the runtime was significantly better than the factory battery. I showed that the load was almost deserted after 1:15 of continuous cleaning work. not at all impressed with their complete lack of knowledge and instructions on how to adapt Roomba to a non-factory battery. I can't report any long-term experiences yet.
