Apply thread sealant and you're done!

So mine was shipped from India and took about 3 weeks to get to me. When you open the packaging you smell a very strong plastic smell. I'm not sure if hose or pipe. Either way it's annoying. Based on other reviews complaining about leaks, I immediately removed the faucet and applied teflon tape to seal the threads (just like you find in the plumbing department). The "seal" the product uses is a simple O-ring that needs to be wedged between the bottle screw and the faucet screw. Unfortunately the nut in between is too big or the threads are too short and I can definitely see the thing flowing like crazy without additional sealant. Oh, and the bottle screw is a right screw (right hand) and the faucet screw/nut is a left screw (left hand). So before you pick this thing up, flip it the other way first. After applying the thread sealant I had no leaks. Very happy with this product. It's also worth noting that the valve is closed/closed at the 9 o'clock position and then open/on at the 12 and 6 o'clock positions. The trigger only rotates 180 degrees.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Lots of stuff
