Review on Enhanced Footwear Traction with Kahtoola NANOspikes by Brian Campbell

They're great for my needs. After the terrible February crisis in Minnesota, when I had to pull along the fence one day to climb the mountain on ice, I got it and was very happy about it. I wouldn't want to run in them because the feel on hard tarmac is different than on ice, but they worked great in the mixed conditions (bare tarmac, very thin ice, thicker ice, snow on ice) we find in. Minnesota. They're not the best in deep snow, but they work well here too. Light. It is also very important to me that the rubber is of high quality so that my boots can be put on easily. I had another brand and had a very hard time getting these instead of boots. It's more expensive, but worth it if you do a lot of walking and like me need to walk uphill in ice (yes, there are hills in Minnesota, in case anyone was wondering).
