LOVE YOU ON ICE! for shoe care and accessories

These NANO spikes are amazing! I doubted them because of the amount of hard rubber on the bottom. My friend and I went for a run where it is very hilly and there is a lot of ice. I couldn't believe how well they dug into the ice. Even when going down on the ice, I didn't have any slipping or slipping sensation. The rubber construction on the bottom feels very smooth and doesn't feel any spikes. I currently have a pair of Due North Everyday Micro spikes, which I also really like, but I found…

Pros
  • Absolutely brilliant!
Cons
  • Expensive

Good grip, a little too big for sneakers

I have micro cleats for hiking and love them so when I wanted something to run on icy trails it was an easy choice. I used them for the first time today and they worked well. With the recent warm weather followed by rain and then dropping temperatures, the track conditions were perfect to try. The surface was a mix of frozen fields, mixed gravel and dirt tracks and fire roads with some clear spots and solid ice. The nanothorns worked exactly as I had hoped. There are no problems with the…

  • Alright!

Ideal for ice and mixed conditions

They're great for my needs. After the terrible February crisis in Minnesota, when I had to pull along the fence one day to climb the mountain on ice, I got it and was very happy about it. I wouldn't want to run in them because the feel on hard tarmac is different than on ice, but they worked great in the mixed conditions (bare tarmac, very thin ice, thicker ice, snow on ice) we find in. Minnesota. They're not the best in deep snow, but they work well here too. Light. It is also very important…

Saved me from my driveway trying to kill myself

After slipping on our downhill road many times this winter I finally got it on a friend's recommendation ordered, who has micro-thorns and swears by them. Given that I spend most of my time on the pavement, the Nanospike made more sense. You save lives. I can walk up and down the driveway and start the snowplow anywhere, even when it's completely covered in ice, and never feel the slightest bit of slippage. They're usually easy to put on and take off and only take a minute or two, even if…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from the testers
Cons

Painful Metal Design

This will be my third winter with these spikes and I'm ready to find an alternative. Studs are great for icy roads and pavements, but once you add 1/4 inch of snow to the mix, they don't help much. Another thing I noticed is that the sidewalks have very uneven ice (think winter mix that freezes after people have stomped on it all day), my feet often slip because the spikes don't catch anything be able. My wife has a brand with coils and doesn't experience the heel slippage that I experience…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Update available

One of the best products I've bought from Revain

There are few things I've bought from Revain that have impacted my quality of life as much as these boots. Not wanting to go to the gym, my wife and I continued to get outside this winter. Sidewalks vary depending on how the owner has been digging with the shovel, and it can be difficult to stay two meters away from others walking their dogs or playing sports. So let's walk the streets. In our city, the minimum amount of ice is used on residential streets that are covered with snow for most of…

Excellent ice packs!

Kahtoola makes the best ice grips. They are well made, durable, easy to put on and take off, and reasonably priced. I wear NANO spikes for everyday use on icy roads, sidewalks and trails. I wear them even on the sea beach in winter when there is ice stains, walking on rocks, gravel and sand. You just keep working! I check the sharp tips to make sure they aren't worn out, particularly on the heel, and expect to replace them every year or two as I use them constantly and run miles during our long

Pros
  • Satisfied so far

  • Not the best
