Attachment works well, easy to adjust, strong enough. In general I like it. It comes with a zippered pouch to protect and store all parts when not in use. The metal bar has English on one side and metric on the other side. Just flip it. Pilot drills slide on this rod and are fixed with set screws. The plastic vertical shaft is metric only. You could probably tape an English tape measure to the back - like a paper or cloth tape measure, or a few inches from a carpenter's tape measure. The rails are brass inserts about 1/4 inch thick. but not enough to really guide the drill to make a true 90 hole.
