Review on 🎥 LG HF60LA Cinebeam Projector - Full HD LED with Smart TV, Bluetooth Sound Out (White) by Julius Robinson

Used to be a pretty decent projector for the price until problems started 18 months ago. First, broken pixels started appearing on the outside of the screen. I've tried switching to sport mode as others have suggested, but a dead pixel is just a dead one. I can't tell if it prevented more or not, but they're still slowly appearing and crawling onto the screen. I always have about 20-30 white dots in the picture. Did some research and found that the DMD chip used by LG overheats. They use cheap thermal paste on the chip and it wears out after about 12 months. I'm still figuring out how to fix this problem with no luck and of course no help from LG. Second, the power cycle issue. I turned on the projector and after 20 seconds it turned off and on again. The cycle repeats itself endlessly until I disconnect the projector from the network. To fix this I had to replace an inductor deep inside the projector in the circuit (after lots of googling and no help from LG). The projector is working again but I still have dead pixels and with only a 1 year warranty LG is not willing to help.
