Review on πŸ”¨ Galvanized Steel Pegboard Wall Control System by Rick Turner

Revainrating 5 out of 5

not 16 " in the middle!

The packaging says it was in the 3rd generation of the family business (wall management). I can say that the grandson must be good at finance or banking, he / they long forgot what 16" OC cleats look like! ;) With the addition of 2x4 brackets I was only able to put it on studs with screws in the side holes, the middle holes are in the middle of nowhere. Actual length between side holes is 31 inches axially, leaving you 1/4 inch to mount a #10 bolt and carry "heavy loads". :) Galvanized thickness is normal. But you can't poke in much, since you can't poke in the middle screws even with an extra 2x4 (the middle holes face the edge). Adding cross boards at the waist is too much valuable space. Either use it on plywood or buy another product. Too bad the assembly instructions that came with the breadboard clearly show the assembly of a 16" OC stud (sweet memories of Grandpa's design :). You CANNOT safely mount it to 16" OC studs!

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Very expensive
