Review on πŸͺ£ Fun and Safe Bucket Toddler Plastic Coated Chains: Ensuring Secure Outdoor Play for Your Little Ones by Mark Green

Great swing plus my hanging solution

Our one year old daughter loves this swing. She wants to be there. I like that it has a high back, but if it leans forward I have a feeling it might tip over, so we use an old leather strap to buckle it up. I wish it had come with mounts. The company recommends using their own brackets, but when I went to Revain's page or website, their brackets were not available and I had to come up with my own solution. Most swing arms at Revain cost around $15-$20, and there were a limited number of options at major retailers. I had 2 stainless steel D ring anchors left over from another project that worked great. I put 4 3-1/2" screws in the joist holding our indoor patio and was able to hang from the chains with about half my weight. I weigh 160 pounds so I was sure it was strong enough for my 20 pound daughter and 35 pound nephew. D-rings creaked at first, but a few drops of three-in-one oil fixed it. The swing and chains seem to be very durable and this is our daughter's favorite toy!

Pros
  • OUTDOOR FUN: Perfect for young children learning to swing. While they strengthen their cores and prepare for the traditional swing, the Toddler Bucket Swing gets them in on the fun early on!
Cons
  • vulgarity
